When our founder Dale Peterson and his wife Fern began raising turkeys on our family farm in Cannon Falls, they did it the only way they knew how – without shortcuts. Eighty years later, that philosophy hasn’t changed.

We're four weeks away from fresh turkey reservations opening!⁠ 🦃⁠ ⁠ Mark your calendars for October 19th, when you can reserve your fresh turkey for pickup at our on-farm market during our annual TurkeyFest celebration (November 20-25).⁠ ⁠ Be sure to visit our website and subscribe to our newsletter. On that day, we'll send you an email with a direct link to the reservation form.⁠
Have you ever wondered what we mean when we say our turkeys are antibiotic-free? ⁠Our Raised Without Antibiotics claim starts at the hatchery, where the eggs and baby turkeys are handled to our standards and never administered antibiotics or growth promotants. We don’t think there’s any substitute for excellent care and husbandry, and we take pride in creating an environment that maintains turkey health without medications.⁠

Mark your calendars for our annual TurkeyFest celebration, taking place at our on-farm market November 20 to 25. The event will include:⁠ ⁠ 🦃 FRESH Thanksgiving turkey pick up (reservations open October 19)⁠ 🥧 Local foods to round out your holiday meal⁠ 🧀 Free samples from our local food vendors⁠ 🚚 A food truck with lunch for purchase (11am to 2pm) each day⁠ ⁠ Reservations for fresh turkeys and other local foods will open on our website on October 19.
